Today is the first day of writing for the new show. It’s the full-length incarnation of the sketches we’ve been trying out at Nick Steel Entertains’ Bon Bon Cabaret. It’s going to be a rip-snorter and we’re quietly confident about it, at the moment it’s likely to be a one-night-stand because I can’t really be bothere to put together a tour, but we might. It’s called, provisionally, Their award-winning second show; Post-Postal. It will of course be presented by New Old Friends, and will feature the comedy styling of Heather Westwell, my fine self, Adrian Hamilton and/or Josh Golga depending on availability. Should be fun fun fun.
Currently working on a ‘doctor, doctor’ style of sketch which I think could be a winner. We have a copper, a lover, possibly a doctor, what other archetypes do we need? We have no men in drag, are we a proper British comedy act?
